A Forever HomeThese two fur kids are my office assistants who have each come from a rescue background to their Forever home. When I am having a bad day or can not focus, I just ask and I usually get more than one answer. You can click on the photos above to open.
A short background on my girls: Maggie Muggins arrived first, after being dumped and giving birth to five wonderful little fur balls, she came to live with me. Miss Molly was not abandoned, her owner was ill and could not look after her so she joined our family a few months after Maggie. There were strange noises around the house for a few days but no fur loss so they decided to make a go of it. We are now into our second year and all is well - but at times more than comical to say the least. Home entertainment at it's best. You are likely wondering why a blog about rescue pets? Well there are so very many sad little souls that for one reason or another have lost their way, so I am putting it out there that they have feelings too and rescues are often very grateful. Sometimes just a smile will send Molly off to bring her silly fox to me. Pets are therapeutic for our health and it is a proven fact, so if for no other reason, these two keep my sanity one day at a time. Many years ago 1999 my very dear Max helped me through cancer and he understood every single thing I said to him. Dogs Know! So today, cancer free I help women on their journey with emotional and stress issues. It does not mean you have to run out and bring home a pet, but for myself it was the answer. Max was also a rescue and the best friend a girl could have. Comments are closed.
