I've Walked In Your Shoes
How was your summer and fall? Mine was busy opening clinic space at Forest City Naturopathic Clinic in London, meeting fantastic new people and having a blast!
Life is Fantastic and when you have been down a path similar to mine, it makes one look at life in a whole different light. I have walked in your shoes (some of you) and felt what it is like. We look ahead not back. That's what gets us through our journey.
Let me guess? So you are feeling the loneliness, feeling the pain, it can be a real fear of never feeling better or getting your life back. Some have daily stress about money, bills, collectors etc. I can listen to you about how you feel, or think on certain days. I can feel your pain and loneliness, not that I am complaining. You will survive! I did and now I have developed the EARLE METHOD to help others who may have similar issues in life to move on with their lives too. Our old beliefs and our mindset hold us from moving on sometimes. Now you can learn ways to help yourself.
Since March 8, 1999 things have been different in my world. I was told I had a few good years left, that the percentage rate for getting past five (5) years was questionable. Well, I'm still here sixteen years later and now reaching out to help others, if they want it. Again in 2004 I was told the "C" word was back. Again in the summer, my blood was off but I am blessed it was not cancer, just tired out from STRESS! Imagine that? Now who would think stress would make you ill?
Backing up a bit down memory lane. When my treatment ended in '99 I became a real life "Gypsy" wanting to see what was over that mountain (BC) exploring the cities and the people. I really didn't know how long I would be here. My roots and grounding were not there for a long time, and I have lost friends over it. Perhaps as I reflect now, they had never tried walking in another persons' shoes. I worked in various work environments so I could feel what employees felt like working in that job. Being a temp is the best life a gypsy can have. I met some pretty cool people along my journey, had jobs I loved and also some I would never want to recommend (or have the pleasure spending time with again)! But that is life and the skills I now have, you cannot learn in a book! (Yes, I am writing the flippin book). Never did I consider it the School of Hard Knocks. In my world I would rather think of it as a long road with a huge learning curve, or perhaps I am a late bloomer? Who knows, but what did come out of this was the EARLE METHOD - from the heart!
Helping clients in their journey, being there, and truly understanding.
My Blog is about my every day life and also about life in general. You may also see a post about my rescue fur kids. This is a place for you to get to know me. Enjoy!
